When solving word problems involving multiplication, you should always carefully read the problem and decide what you are being asked to solve.
Remember to keep in mind your decimal rules, especially when dealing with problems involving money. For instance, if you were told that an apple sells for $0.60 and then asked how much it would cost to buy 70 apples. You would multiply $0.60 by 70 to get a product of $42.00. Since there were two decimal places in your problem there are two in your answer, or product as it is called in multiplication.
